They also gained knowledge and experiences necessary to make informed decisions about academic and career paths in the health professions while incorporating the Kern National Network Framework for Flourishing.

“I originally chose to participate in the MSOE-MCW Health Professions Pathways Series to strengthen my understanding of fields like precision medicine, genetic counseling, pharmacy, and public health to see how I could better work with these health professions as a physician someday, as increased knowledge and understanding across health disciplines brings better patient care,” said Brooke Stanley. “This program has provided me with immense knowledge about these focus areas and the importance of flourishing in medicine with the Kern National Network.”

This series is part of a new collaboration between MSOE and MCW called “Student Pathways to Flourishing in the Health Professions.”
